Number of boarding students in public schools (2006-2018)

From 2006 to 2014, the number of students living in boarding schools increased to more than 72% in public schools. In 2006, the latter had 34188 students. In the 2013-2014 school year, there were 59138 in boarding schools. Since then, the number of students has decreased up to 42273 students in 2018.
