From 2013 to 2016, Burundian exports to the East African Community were decreased by 27%. They moved from BIF 50913 to BIF 37019 million. The Tanzanian market is ranked first, Burundian exports decreased from BIF 18,634 to BIF 1,716 million. In the second place comes Rwanda where exports diminished by 61, 25%. For Uganda, the value of Burundian products and services sold into that market plummeted by 34.22%. However, exports to Kenya increased by 77.8%.
