Number of active physicians working in Burundi (2008-2016)

From 2008 to 2016,number of physicians has increased. It moved from 457 to 542. The dataset shows that the number of active specialist physicians did not change from 2008 to 2011. Burundi only had 40 physicians. In 2012, they reached 75. Since 2013, the physicians plummeted to 21 in 2016. However, from 2008 to 2016, the number of generalist physicians increased from 317 to 521.
