Déogratias Ninyibuka, Chairman of a Commission in charge of preparing the national exam in ninth grade of Basic Schools says the exam papers have been sent to the exam centers. “Over 92,600 students are expected to sit for the national exam scheduled from 9 to 11 June in 949 exam centers,” says Ninyibuka.
He exhorts students to do the exam calmly as it has been chosen among the courses seen in class. “They must avoid cheating. It is like other exams,” he says. Ninyibuka also urges headmasters to not approach exam centers. “They aren’t allowed to come near those centers. They will be kicked away,” he says.
Ninth grade students in Basic Schools will do mathematics, language I made of French and Kirundi, language II made of English and Kiswahili, science and technology, human sciences and entrepreneurship.
